Building the team

Key in establishing KBC has been building a strong leadership team. The KBC Board is composed of two appointees of each shareholder, including an executive manager and current shareholder Board member, as well as an independent Chair. We are fortunate to have excellent governance expertise that brings a wealth of experience while also providing a strong and direct line into each shareholder entity.

Working closely alongside the Board, the Senior Leadership team brings a diverse array of expertise, including sector-specific experience in new cultivar development, pre-commercial and commercial experience, as well as leadership within Crown Research Institutes (CRI's), operations, governance and strategic development, and delivery.
